Security and limits

Connect your own systems and AI agents to Epicurus Pro with a simple REST API and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

Rate limits

120 requests per minute per key. Every response includes X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining. Over the limit you get 429 with a retry time.

Scopes

  • read: list and fetch data.
  • read + write: also create contacts, tasks, notes, logs, tickets and send emails.

Keeping keys safe

  • Keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes; we can't show a key again after creation.
  • Keys act as their creator and respect that person's permissions.
  • Revoke a key any time in Settings → API & MCP. Every request is logged with time and IP.
  • Never put a key in client-side code or a public repository.

Transport

HTTPS only. Requests are handled in the UK.
